That looks good.

I can't quite tell what way the stairs go, but I usually have that problem with that sort of mapping style.

You said elsewhere that you have an account on Dragonsfoot. Have you posted a topic about this map there?

I don't recall what HoDQ is? What product is that?

HoDQ, or HotDQ. Hoard of the Dragon Queen, it was the first published adventure for 5th edition D&D.

I've been working on and off on a fantasy continent for a campaign I'm currently running. The terrain was originally generated in World Machine, then I did some wrangling of the high-res grayscale heightmap in Gimp, before moving to Krita to start filling in the details by hand.

Here's my most recent export:

The hexes are 25 miles across (representing a days travel). The total size of the continent is roughly equivalent to all of Faerun. It occupies about 70 degrees of longitude, and 90 degrees of latitude on a nearly-earth sized sphere.

That's a beautiful map. I love the 3D effect you made with World Machine.

Hello!

How are you trying to share the image? I think everyone's uploading it to image hosting places then adding link to the forums.

Lorenzo,

That's why. Yeah, the forums are not setup for uploading images directly to our servers....yet :).

For now if you have an account with one of the "image bucket" websites you can attach an image into the forums that links to that.

Long term we will create a map gallery for our users and other neat things.

Thanks!

This map is still a work in progress and a result of experimenting with the tools. It's for a campaign I'm currently running.

If you're on mobile, it's a fairly large file.
