Black blocks when zooming out

When I zoom out of the map, I get to the point where black blocks are showing. Like in the attachment mostly at the bottom, but at some zoom levels also on the right side.

What are the dimensions of your map in pixels?

I'm seeing kind of the opposite on Linux. When I zoom out to the point where my map doesn't completely fill the OWM display area, I'll get a light grey square in the upper left, which is the same size as the map. Seems like it's blanking out that area expecting the map to be in the upper left, but then the map actually gets drawn in the center.

The Linux version of this that I reported (see the screenshot in my earlier post to this thread) is only partially fixed. When I change the map zoom level or alt-tab away from OWM and back, the entire background is the darker grey color as it should be, but, as soon as I move the mouse pointer within the map display area, the lighter grey rectangle in the upper left reappears.

Confirmed... full fix didn't make it into the build.
