in theory, when I have multiple landmasses, or some other object, in a group would it be possible to make it so that they will form their own twiddle-down level in the layer panel?

The usecase here is that I've got a collection of islands in a chain and having Landmass 04 all the way to Landmass 56 overwhelms the layer panel, and it'd be nice to be able to navigate those.

Addendum: the ability to rename the group so that the twiddle-down item can be named.

Custom layer groups would indeed be awesome ^^

We do have plans in the future for making different views/customization options for the layers panel, but they're still in the design phase. One of those will absolutely be a Group view, which hopefully we can get out in the next couple versions. Thank you for the feedback!
