Cracked/Broken Road
This may be already doable (I'm finding more and more things that I thought wasn't possible already is) but if not- a variant of the road that is cracked and broken.. not quite the patterned version but more of a solid, blocky one that has breaks and cracks in it along the way.

Re: Cracked/Broken Road
There are a couple of textures you could use to have a cracked looking road and then partition it to create full breaks, but the ends of the roads/paths are very clean, so I don't think that would give the look you want. We can look into having different end styles for roads/paths.
I did try out having a very small region under the road that was the same solid fill and texture to make a fake end. It works ok if you don't have an outline, but it would be tedious.
