Higher asset density (Fill Path)

Post by Balmung » Sat Oct 07, 2023 3:13 am

The "Fill Path" function is very nice and saves a lot of time to create a dense forest. But 50% spacing is just a little to much. In my case I assume a value between 20%-50% would be perfect.

BTW, why a limitation at all?

I've previously requested (maybe even more than once) the ability for manually-entered numbers to not be restricted to the slider's range in cases like this, instead of "replacing with closest value." IIRC, I first ran across it with path widths, when I was trying to make a path much narrower than what the slider allowed for - I wanted 10px wide and the slider said "Nooooo! Paths smaller than 50px wide cannot exist!" or something like that.

So, yes, count this as a re(-re?)-request for allowing manual entry of numbers outside of the slider's range limits. The slider range limits often feel arbitrary and it's not hard to find use cases where using values outside the range is appropriate.
