Map Setup World Units metric units seem incorrect (1.0.6, Linux)

Maybe I'm missing something in how OWM operates, but this seems very wrong:
1. Start in Map Setup at a base resolution of 300 px/in.
2. Switch resolution unit to px/cm, this now shows 762 px/cm.
This would mean there are 2.54 inches in a centimeter, but there are 2.54 centimeters in an inch.
300 px/in should correspond to about 118 px/cm.
3. Switch resolution unit to px/mm, this now shows 7620 px/mm.
This would mean there are 10 centimeters in a millimeter, but there are 10 millimeters in a centimeters.
762 px/cm should correspond to 76.2 px/mm (and 300 px/in should correspond to about 11.8 px/mm).
