Metric system

In the newest video you show off the ability to measure distances (in miles). Will there also be a setting available to convert/show it to metric?

You can select the scale and units to anything you want, including units you type in. So you could do kilometers but also fantasy units.

Is there some new video I haven’t seen or are you catching up?

The February update in Kickstarter has a video to show the progress (it's in our you tube channel as well).

Ok, I have seen that one. The word „new“ made me think that maybe you have published something after that.

That sounds useful.

Someone might also want to create a real-world map, using obsolete units of measurement, to make a map that "feels" like it comes from an ancient culture. (For example an Arabian map where the distances are measured in the parasangs.)

David,

The more I read of your posts the more I realize you are really into maps. That's a good thing though.

Thanks Casey.

I love maps. Sadly, that isn't the same as being good at making them.

Hopefully I can get good at making maps, so that the ideas I have in my head will go down on paper (or virtual paper) and look good.
