Cool! You can export with a transparent background. When the Export Settings window comes up, hit the Layers button at the bottom and uncheck the Canvas.

There's no way to change the layer order of different item types at this time.

And while you're at it... length of a road or river :D I'll one-up that request: Length of an arbitrary segment of a road or river. I'm much more likely to want to know how far it is from here to there along a road than to want to know the road's full length. We'll look into showing the segment inf...

We found the issue. The max size for exporting is 23000x23000 px. We're working on increasing the max size.
