Re: Moving Layers Causes them to Appear in the Middle of the Map

Now items moved to a new Feature layer relocate to the upper-left corner. So, not sure why they were relocating to the center previously. Even so, moving a layer should not cause the feature to relocate on the actual map.

Moving Layers Causes them to Appear in the Middle of the Map

Hello. I've got several dunes I've placed on my desert region, but three of the dozens somehow ended up in a different Features layer. No worries, right? All I needed to do was select them and drag them over to the correct Features layer and be done with it. Except, when I do that, instead of stayin...

Custom Layers

I am creating a map where I need to place several secret places that get revealed as PCs discover certain things. So, for example, they have a map with an oasis on it. After going to the oasis and solving what is there to solve, the map will then reveal a new location, etc., etc. To do this, I want ...

Re: Beveled Look on Landmass?

Can you give me an example of the exact look you want? Sure! Something like this: http://www.argentarts.com/uploads/bevel.jpg The bevel I'm talking about is where the land meets the sea, a river, or any body of water. It would be great, too, if we could get control over the "light" so that we could...

Re: Other World mapper vs wonderdraft

I own both Other World Mapper and Wonderdraft. For a time, I was quite enamored with Wonderdraft, mainly because it was so easy to use ... at least initially. But I found the program to be lacking as you dig deeper into it. Other World Mapper ... I found it to be a lot more powerful and still pretty...

Beveled Look on Landmass?

Hello! New to Other World Mapper and really loving the software. Question - I see how to add outlines, shadows, textures, and all of that, but what about a bevel to the landmass? Is there a method to create an effect like this in Other World Mapper? Thanks. :)

Items To Not Exceed Boundaries

Hello! I would love it if we could set items (symbols) to not exceed the boundaries of a landmass. That way when we are using the scatter function to scatter trees all over the place, they would not end up in the ocean, in lakes, or rivers. This would be tough because I am guessing that people would...

Palm Rejection for Tablet Use

Hello! I recently purchased Other World Mapper and I love the program. I've used a few others, but OWM really resonates with me and is quite powerful. I'd like to ask for a feature request - Palm Rejection I am an artist who works primarily digitally and uses an interactive pen display (like a Wacom...
