Re: dealing with the realities of magic
I love your writeup, Big Mac. This is exactly the kind of thinking that is missing from most fantasy. I would actually love to see a world with „industrialized“ magic like what you describe. Maybe I will create one myself. I feel inspired. (My usual way of solving this is making sure that magic is n...

Where is everyone?
There have been no posts on this forum for the last few days. So... where is everyone?

Re: Play per post RPG
A free, genre-agnostic, and pretty minimal system I like to use is FUDGE: http://www.fudgerpg.com FATE is a FUDGE derivative but both systems would work as they rely more on story than crunchy numbers. It also allows for more player control over the world. The thing that could make Fate appealing i...

Re: Play per post RPG
Yeah, d20 isn’t the best for this kind of game. Werewolf works very well but I don’t have the manual so I could be a player but not a GM.

Play per post RPG
Hey guys, it seems we are all RPGers here. I would like to toss an idea for you: what if we played some play-per-post games here?

Re: dealing with the realities of magic
High magic obviously causes a lot of other problems - and positives - but from a world-design POV these seem to be some of the key ones. And I have some solutions, of course, but keen to hear everyone else's POV Just yesterday, I was boring my GF to death with this exact topic. Most high fantasy se...

Re: Mac Users
We're all very excited for the software and getting to use it, but let's talk about the Mac side of it. :D It'll be coming later, and most users on here are Windows users, but some of us (or at least me) are purely OSX users. So, introduce yourself and lets talk about this fantastic software and ho...
