Re: Interactive Capability
a clickable version i can host on my own domain but have the ability to click on a location and obtain further information about that area. As soon as you brought the website into it, you moved into "the image format matters, not the tool used to create it" territory and I don't know of any image f...

Re: Mac Version Question
End of this month if we don't hit another unexpected delay. This is our #1 priority and all Windows dev work is halted so we can get it out. We're aiming to start working on an iOS port after the OSX version is out, so maybe I'm being a bit optimistic, but you may see an iPad alpha by the end of th...

Re: Regenerate single segment?
3) I didn't seem to be able to move control points added in Shape Edit. They still functioned to break a segment into shorter segments, but wouldn't respond when I tried to drag them with the Move tool. Control points placed when I initially drew the landmass, however, were movable as expected. I c...

Re: Regenerate single segment?
Didn't think about hiding points because there shouldn't be that many control points normally (unless you are clicking very closely to create fractal segments - but that's probably getting you shapes with more points that are needed. Nope, not because I have a ton of control points (I try to keep t...

Re: Regenerate single segment?
So, yeah, I gave it a try last night and using the Move tool to select segments worked. Then I kept working on my world map and came up with a bunch of additional comments, questions, suggestions, requests, and so on. I'll just list them here instead of starting a new thread for them: 1) Related to ...

Re: Regenerate single segment?
We combined the Point Edit and Segment Edit tools into the "Shape Edit" while also adding the ability to edit Branches. The "tooltips" for the buttons didn't get properly updated, so it's confusing. However, you can use the "move" button of the Control Point/Segment edit mode to select a fractal se...

Regenerate single segment?
I finally got around to trying out 0.9.3 last night after a month or two of not making maps. (Shameful, I know...) After drawing some landmasses and getting unsightly cusps where fractal edges meet, I started looking for the controls to regenerate the fractal for a segment, but wasn't able to find i...

Re: Figure Area of Land Mass or Boundary Area?
I'll one-up that request: Length of an arbitrary segment of a road or river.ChangelingChick wrote:And while you're at it... length of a road or river
I'm much more likely to want to know how far it is from here to there along a road than to want to know the road's full length.

You might want to also mention that the page you're sharing the maps on is at https://www.facebook.com/otherworldmapper/ (Unless it's somewhere else and I found the wrong one...)

Re: After Advice
One con is you cannot adjust anything on the new canvas only overwrite it so make sure you are 100% happy with the map before importing, Also, PNG conversion would rasterize the image, which will limit your ability to zoom in on the final map without getting blocky artifacts. Not an issue if you on...
