Re: Sporadic application freezes with 100% CPU load (1.0.6)

Alright, so I can no longer seem to reproduce this on my laptop (Funtoo) after some updates and it doesn't happen on my new, much beefier pc, where I've temporarily setup Ubuntu to test. So for now, please consider this bug report invalid. Should I encounter something like it again, I'll collect mor...

Re: Sporadic application freezes with 100% CPU load (1.0.6)

Hey Alejandro, thank you for the feedback. Is there any specific version of Ubuntu you want me to try (14,16,18,20, assuming you're on LTS)? With regards to Funtoo: It would be cool if you could, but as it's a source distribution (like Gentoo) where you have to compile everything, this might take an...

Sporadic application freezes with 100% CPU load (1.0.6)

So this might be a bit of a weird issue: When running OWM 1.0.6 on Linux and using the landmass or region tool, sometimes the entire application just stops responding and freezes, with my performance monitor showing one core at 100% load from OWM. I realize this is probably not enough information to...

Consider using gtk3 backend for wxwidget on Linux

Hello, I'm using OWM on Linux and it seems like you're using wxWidgets with the GTK+ 2 backend. Would it be possible for you to upgrade to the GTK+ 3 backend for Linux ( https://docs.wxwidgets.org/3.0/page_port.html ) ? For example, GTK+ 2 doesn't have particularily good support of HiDPI screens, li...

Support Linux on riscv64gc hardware?

Hi, I know that this is something extremely fringe and you probably won't have any available time for this, but if possible it would be awesome if you could support RISC-V 64 bit as a hardware platform when running Linux (I have a Hifive Unmatched board with Linux running on it that I would love to ...

Map Setup World Units metric units seem incorrect (1.0.6, Linux)

Maybe I'm missing something in how OWM operates, but this seems very wrong: 1. Start in Map Setup at a base resolution of 300 px/in. 2. Switch resolution unit to px/cm, this now shows 762 px/cm. This would mean there are 2.54 inches in a centimeter, but there are 2.54 centimeters in an inch. 300 px/...
