Re: More house shape options

Great ideas and great looking map. I've pushed the housing tool to the limits as well, and it's very difficult to fit them together without some sort of natural curvature fitting angle options. Yes to dormers automatically, please. And chimneys! I've made so many custom balconies and railings and ac...

Re: V1.0.5 Nears...

Got my V1.0.5 today. Thank you for so many fixes! I'm shaking out my maps and don't see any issues so far. Looking forward to hearing what's targeted for scope in V1.0.6.

Re: V1.0.5 Nears...

Really looking forward to the Win release. I started area exports of my 3000 building city map today for layout, and if any options for remembering area export parameters are included, it would be timely.

Thanks!

Re: Add a texture option for road center line (with example why)

I'm using the City Wall tool for roads in a city. You can use Texture on the outer edge to do a sidewalk.

Re: prevent fractalization loops

If I see this happen, I redo and don't take the shape to that point. It's easy to avoid. While you're drawing points, you can ctrl+z undo to go back 1 point.

What's the largest map you've created in OWM so far?

Re: Ctrl + 1 Zoom Default Scale

Something around scale would be beneficial to new users. That was personally my biggest challenge in my first designs. How big do I make something on my map? It took some playing around for me to get a sense for scale, and ctrl+1 was a helpful shortcut to keep my sense of scale balanced.

Re: Ctrl + 1 Zoom Default Scale

First, I want to emphasize that I have the results I want. The map looks stellar at the intended zoom scale which I control in the final digital formats. A couple of gaps lead to my current situation. From a user perspective, I mistakenly associated ctrl+1 with a default zoom scale that was in line ...

Re: Layering features

You may not have the cave selected. In your features list, find it and drag the order up above the mountain.

Ctrl + 1 Zoom Default Scale

I have a city map whose setup is configured like: Width: 24" Height: 18" Resolution: 300dpi My screen resolution: 1600x900 When I ctrl+1 to zoom to default, my scale goes to 1-map-inch displaying as 2.5" on my screen. I've been creating buildings on this scale, so to get full normal resolution, I wo...
