Re: More control of layers?
In your image, are the stairs just another graphic (another Feature)? If so, right-click on the stairs to access the right-click menu and go to Layer Order. That will open up another menu where you can select how you want to alter the feature (move up or down the stack ... forward or back). Alternat...

Re: Blurry symbol v wysiwyg?
Not sure what size those symbols are originally (in pixels), but 11% is tiny. When you shrink down a non-vector image, it loses information. In this case, it loses pixels. It's sort of like this - imagine you have an image made up of four pixels, each a different color. Then you reduce it's size in ...

Blend Modes to Blend with Landmass, etc.
It would be great if we could get blend modes to work with the colors beneath the features. So, if a tree were a certain color, if we were able to set a blend mode for multiply or additive, etc., to cause the tree to blend in better with more gradient styled areas, etc.

Gradient Fills
It would be great if OWM had the ability to fill areas (the sea, landmasses, regions) with gradients that we could define (2 colors, 3 colors, etc.).

Re: Global tool settings
Hmmm ... I get what you are saying, but I don't view it in the same light. I see presets as a means to do exactly what you're looking for. I use them and dispose them if I no longer need them, even if they are only used for one map. I mean, I want all my rivers to work the same way, all my roads, to...

Re: Freehand (Landmasses, Etc.)
Thanks, but that example (see above) was drawn with Auto Reduce Points already activated, so OWM is not doing a decent job here.

Re: Global tool settings
I hope this helps a bit: Instead of copying properties, use Save Presets. After you set the properties for something as you like them, click the Save Presets button (it's on the right, just above where you set the properties for things like landmasses, regions, rivers, etc.) and looks like a downwar...

Re: Smooth and Rough "Brush"
Thanks for the help, but that's not what I'm wanting to do or suggesting a "smooth" or "rough" brush would do. I don't want to necessarily generate a new fractal, hoping to eventually get something closer to what I want, but want to use a brush-like tool to go over the area and adjust the smoothness...

Last Created Auto-Selected Option
I'd like to see an OPTION or auto-selecting the last thing created. Currently, as an example, if I create a river and then want to change it by moving a point or two, I have to do the following: - Create river using the river tool - Click the Transform tool - Click the river just made - Start clicki...
