OWM - She's Coming Along

Post by unklStewy » Sat Jun 27, 2015 8:44 pm

Good Evening,

Just a quick word from an Alpha tester who is quite satisfied with the progress the Three Minds Software team is making on the project.

I have been working with OWM for about two months now and making notes to the developers about somethings that need tweaks and fixes.

I just wanted to share something with the group so that you know that Other World Mapper is going to be a great program.

Some Closer pictures with my crappy cell phone camera. You will have to trust me that the final quality is very, very, very good.

It's huge!
Cool! We haven't tried printing anything that big yet.

Kyete,

I wasn't able to print it directly so I had to export it as a large format .pdf and then print from Adobe X. That issue was already discussed in bug reports. I agree it is Massive.. and it looked great on the table Sunday! .. Next session I plan on having a copy reprinted and laminated so we can use dry erase markers on it.

Thanks for printing a map and showing it to us (especially as it cost you $29 USD).

Mac,

I had ulterior motives... I printed it for game that weekend, so it worked out well for every one. I think I am going to laminate the next one so I can use dry erase markers on it.
