Roads over multiple landmasses?

Post by Magasul » Sat May 09, 2020 4:32 am

Hey!

I am creating a series of landmasses for a huge city I am building and there is a network of roads that connect these masses. It's a modern city so these are basically highways.
OWM won't allow me to go outside a landmass with the road tool, so I can't make a continuous road that goes over multiple land masses.

How can this be solved?

Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply. You should be able to place roads as children of the canvas (just make sure that the first point placed is on the canvas, not over a landmass) and they'll be drawn over the landmasses.

There is a bug when you try to add branches to a road and that join point is over a landmass, so unfortunately for the time being you'll have to make multiple roads and then merge them once they're in place. We won't be able to fix that in the newest version since it's so close to release, but I'll add it to the list to be fixed for the next one.
