Surrounding Landmass with Water

Post by Chance » Fri May 03, 2019 5:16 pm

I have an Ocean as the Canvas, and drew a landmass on top of the canvas. Is there a way to snap water to the outside of the landmass?

Thank you I love this software!

Very happy you like OWM! :)

I'm assuming you trying to make the water be inside the landmass? If so, you should be able to enable "following" on the toolbar options across the top when you have the water tool selected (it defaults to disabled for the water tool).

Thank you!

Actually that part I figured out quite easily!

No I have a plain blue canvas right now, I'd like it to look like how the water tool makes the shorelines look. Example here: https://i.imgur.com/FrmhVBu.png

My ocean's have no shore lines!

If you go to the Map menu, the Shoreline Options is at the bottom. That will bring up the window so you can customize the look of your shorelines.

Glad you're enjoying the program!
