According to the OWM v0.9.1 help document page 36:

To create a “Map Theme” from your map, select “File” from the menu and “Export Map
Theme” then enter a name for the new theme.

I don't seem to have an "Export Map Theme" line in my File menu.

The document wasn't updated for that late change. We obsoleted the theme files since they conflicted with the way presets are done. Now, to create a new Theme you can create a new Theme from the preset window and all presets saved under that folder will be part of the "Theme." The new map window looks through the theme folders to generate the theme previews (no more stand alone theme file).

V0.9.2 will introduce Templates to take care of map settings that users may want to save (grid config, map size, etc).
