Hi Team,

When I select a feature in the layers panel and then drag and drop it to somewhere else in the list, it becomes de-selected.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or by design, but I'm often not finished editing something when I adjust its layer position, so could it remain selected?

This is a bug. I'll add it to our layers clean-up list. Thank you for all the feedback on the Layers!
