Is there a way to make Windroses in OWM?

If not, that would be a nice feature. A windrose are lines on the map showing distances considering wind and such.

I suppose I could draw them with a line but not sure how it would go with layers.

You can't make them, but with have a variety of compass/wind roses under the "Basic Map Decor" feature category and then some under the Pirates set.

We could add some more if you are interested :)

Thank you!

The wind roses in ancient maps used lines across the ocean to show the time the distance will take based on the prevailing winds.

So, the lines extend across the ocean. I think I could add them manually but was thinking I might have an issue with the layering. I want it on the ocean but not the land mass.

And, well ... they kinda' look sweet.

Oh, so you mean a rhumbline network/windrose lines?

We can try to add it later this year, we should be able to fit it with the projections.
