Boundaries block Add/Subtract

Post by outzenj » Wed Mar 06, 2019 9:07 pm

When drawing with the Add option chosen, the operation the operation fails when the target is "underneath" a boundary. The cursor turns to the "wait" animation and remains that way until the cursor is moved; there is no change to the target object.

This only seems fail when the operation starts on an shape under a boundary. It's possible to Add to a shape that's partially under a boundary, so long as the Add starts outside the boundary. An Add can pass into or through the boundary, and end under the boundary or not, and work. But any Add that starts under the boundary fails. Hiding the boundary doesn't seem to make any difference.

Similar problems occur with the Subtract option. It seems possible to work around the issue by drawing a new shape and then using the Merge Paths feature, but that's a lot of clicking.

I'm using OWM 0.9.6 on Windows 10, x64.

Thanks for taking a look!
