OWM 1.0.1 Linux version issues
(comparisons to Windows OWM 1.0.1 in Win10 VirtualBox VM on same Linux box.)
( Windows OWM 1.0.1 lets me upgrade old OWM files to work in Linux, thanks.)
Host system: Linux, Gentoo running kernel 5.2.17, 64 GB RAM, Nvidia 1070Ti with Nvidia drivers-435.21
1. No "Exit" or "Quit" at the bottom of the File drop down list.
(windows version does have "Exit")
2. In "Setting" drop-down there is no "Application Color Theme" entry as
described in the HelpDocument.pdf.
Looks like I get "dark" theme by default. This is fine most of the time.
(windows version has "default" and "dark" choices in "Application Color Theme")
3. Tutorial window uses very light purple text on yellow and is not readable.
screen shot:
(windows is black on light yellow, very readable)
4. Layers window puts way too much space between each item listed.
screen shot:
(You should be able to double or triple the number of items seen at once.)
(windows version does not have this issue.)
5. Layers window. The vertical lines that join (show relationship) of
different layers of the same depth are not visible.
screen shot: see number 4 above
(windows version does not have this issue for dark or light theme.)

Re: Linux v. 1.0.1 Some Issues
Thank you for the feedback!!
Can you try restoring workspace settings/program settings to see if it goes to the default?

Will add with the next release.1. No "Exit" or "Quit" at the bottom of the File drop down list.

Linux should be defaulting to the "OS default" color theme, some of the UI needed customization for the dark theme.2. In "Setting" drop-down there is no "Application Color Theme" entry as
described in the HelpDocument.pdf.

Not seeing this in Ubuntu and Fedora, we'll do formal testing with Gentoo. Thank you!4. Layers window puts way too much space between each item listed.

Investigating.5. Layers window. The vertical lines that join (show relationship) of

Re: Linux v. 1.0.1 Some Issues
Perhaps the issue is that I am not using a desktop environment (ex: kde or gnome) instead I am "just" using a windows manager (ex: Afterstep, Enlightenment or Fluxbox. In my case OpenBox.) I can change my OpenBox theme and that changes OWM windows's title bar and what the open/close/full-screen window icons look like, but does not change the dark theme that OWM uses. Inside OWM, settings -> reset workspace and settings -> reset application settings did not change the theme or cause the missing "Application Color Theme" settings entry to appear.2. In "Setting" drop-down there is no "Application Color Theme" entry as
described in the HelpDocument.pdf.

I notice that when I first start up OWM that the space between each Layers window line is closer to the nice compact MS Windows OWM spacing, but as I use OWM the space between each line gets larger and larger. That vertical space apparently maxes out at a height of about the sum of the height of two text lines in the layers window.Layers window puts way too much space between each item listed.
Note if you want me to post or e-mail "ldd OWM" or "lddtree OWM" to see what libraries my system gives OWM, let me know.
