Re: V1.0.4 is out!
Thanks for the release!
Secondly, we seriously need an option to move the Windrose to the back so that it does not go over land. In some cases, the end-user may want the Windrose over the land, but in many cases, they won't. I can't find an option to make it so the Windrose is NOT shown over the top of land.
Haven't had a lot of time to play with the new release yet, but the Windrose tool is just ... strange, to me. Lines only allows me to control the lines pointing North, South, East, and West. So, if I set the opacity to something like 20%, only those lines are affected. But if I have more than those four lines, the other lines remain at 100%. Why can't I control the color and opacity of ALL the lines?OWM-942 Added new tool: Windrose Network

Can you clarify what this new options are? I'm probably missing them. Are these for landmasses? Or was this added to the Boundary tool?OWM-896 Add more options for generated borders (texture, outline)

You can chose which line group you are setting from the pull down/combo (Cardinal, ordinal, etc) since you can control each separately.SilverSurfer1221 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 23, 2021 12:29 amHaven't had a lot of time to play with the new release yet, but the Windrose tool is just ... strange, to me. Future release (hopefully the next one) is going to allow moving the layer order of at least certain items, one of them is the windroses. Figured it would be better to do it with that change instead of having something dedicated just for now.SilverSurfer1221 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 23, 2021 12:29 amSecondly, we seriously need an option to move the Windrose to the back so that it does not go over land. It's for the generated map borders.SilverSurfer1221 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 23, 2021 12:29 amCan you clarify what this new options are? I'm probably missing them. Are these for landmasses? Or was this added to the Boundary tool?OWM-896 Add more options for generated borders (texture, outline)

Do'oh! Can't believe I missed that! Thanks! You can chose which line group you are setting from the pull down/combo (Cardinal, ordinal, etc) since you can control each separately.
It would be nice to have an "overall" setting where the end-user could just set one opacity, one color, etc., and that could control the entire windrose. Right now, there's a lot of clicking, a lot of selecting, and a lot of adjusting to get the look wanted for the windrose for a particular map. This "overall" option would be in ADDITION to what is already there, NOT a replacement.
