Getting close :). We've been more thorough with our testing for the release compared to beta 4 catching/fixing smaller bugs. Right now we are aiming for this upcoming week for the beta 5 release.

Let's ask again. How's progress?

Been a while since the last update here or on KS.

We are working on the next release coming out in the next few weeks, it will be a release candidate for the Overland tools, a late beta for the Dungeon tools and early beta for City tools.

Long list of imrprovements, finishing of tools and new functionality. We also got to make some progress towards a first Mac alpha.

We are trying to start weeklky updates on the forums with what we are working on, etc. We keep delaying that to get more work done on OWM, but it would be helpful to have it.

Sounds great Kanchou. You have earned my trust with your work so far so I was not worried. Just curious.

And...

Happy to hear that we did! But I understand if anybody does get worried. Too many Kickstarter project out there "which sleep."

We started a blog which we will update weekly or biweekly depending on how much we have to talk about. One of the main reasons that we don't do more KS updates is that their interface for updates (and the campaigns themselves) is limited and full of glitches - so it takes away from dev time and is quite frustrating.

The first blog is up! http://www.otherworldmapper.com/blog/

Unless something goes terribly wrong, Beta 6 will be out before the end of the year. We are working through the last issues with the new tools. Worst case scenario we may have to turn off some of the functionality until the release after.

And thank you! :)
