See Tool/Edges Outside of Map Edge When Drawing
Currently, if I am drawing a landmass, region, etc., and my mouse goes outside the edge of the canvas, you cannot see where the mouse cursor is, nor can you see the edges being drawn. There are times when I need my edges to extend for several clicks on the outside of the canvas (like for several cli...

Freehand (Landmasses, Etc.)
Currently, when the end-user uses Freehand to create a landmass (etc.) you end up with a ton of points, which makes it virtually impossible to edit the landmass later. Having worked with a few vector drawing programs (Illustrator, Affinity Designer, etc.) their freehand tools allow you to create com...

Merge or Subtract from Landmass, Etc.
Yes, there is currently a way to do this. The end-user can draw two landmasses that overlap, select both, and then right-click and select Merge Paths>Union. And this is pretty great, to be honest. What I would like to see, though, is an option (it could be a check box or something that is clicked) t...

Smooth and Rough "Brush"
So, this is just an idea - Sometimes after creating a landmass using Fractal, I see areas that I would like to be a bit smoother or less jaggie overall. In cases like this, it would be nice to have a Smooth brush. A Smooth brush would be a tool that you could drag, like a brush, over an area of a fr...

Re: Edit raw curve for Bezier Fractal
I tested this and currently you can edit the points only (move them), but the end-user does not get any handles to adjust the CURVE, as you did when you originally laid the point and dragged to adjust the curve. So, it would be nice to be able to move the points AND to be able to adjust the handles ...

Re: Future and potential for Other World Mapper
It's nice if end-users start a Discord channel, sure. But if the devs do it, if they create an official Discord channel, then they can control it, ensuring that the channel reflects their software and their business. They can't do that with a non-official channel. Like Lionheart, I've seen, and been...

Re: More Control Over Effects
The main issue is that of UI changes and us wanting to keep it simple for the everyday user. Perhaps we should have two modes for the properties a simple one and an advanced one where you can just stack effects as you want? We'll do some brainstorming, but suggestions are welcome! Currently, the ef...

Re: More Control Over Effects
I should add that the list of effects you see there in the CC3+ screen shot only tells a part of the story. You may notice that with Land selected, there are TWO Glow effects. That's because you can stack effects in CC3+, adding as many (or as few) of any effect you like, combining them in unique wa...

More Control Over Effects
... and, well, more effects. ;) I'll start by saying that I love Other World Mapper. I have a license to Wonderdraft and Campaign Cartographer 3+. Both are interesting programs, to be sure, but I keep coming back to Other World Mapper for mapping. Wonderdraft has a few interesting features (like how...

Re: Features disappearing when stopped being dragged
Hello! I'm not sure what's going on with your system or installation, but this is not how it's supposed to work. At least, it's not how it works on my end. If I select a feature and drag it onto the map, the feature stays visible, even if I stop moving the mouse. So, as long as you have Feature sele...
