Re: Where is everyone?
There have been no posts on this forum for the last few days. So... where is everyone? I've been uber busy at work. What other forums do you frequent that are on topic of mapping/RPG/etc.? I've got accounts on quite a lot of forums, but the one I hang out at most is The Piazza . I have a stup...

Re: Other Mapping Tools
Anna Meyer just linked to something called Experilous: Procedural Planet Generation over at her Flanaess Geographical Society group. It looks pretty interesting.

Re: Excited for Release
It might be nice to have an OWM marketplace where artists could create symbol sets, icons packs and map packs for sale to other users as licensed content. That's been our plan, and we'll talk about it more next year. Like you said, we're concentrating on development of the first release for now :) ...

Hi Casey. Welcome to the OWM forums.
I had a look at your Wisterian Realms page, but there is not too much there yet. Is that going to be homebrew, or are you going commercial with it?

Welcome to the OWM forums Durwinfeanora.
I noticed you over in one of the Mac OS topics. I hope we can help each other, when the Mac OS version of OWM arrives.

Re: Mac Users
I think it would be nice to have one for the future although I don’t think it is necessary yet. No harm in creating it though. If you do create it, you might want to move the current 2 Mac threads over there. Good point Stefanstr. I'm not sure that empty forums are useful, at this stage, but when t...

Re: Greetings from Wildspace
I've seen Spelljammer on the shelves before and I'm not sure why I kept passing it by but it sounds like a lot of fun. I've been a Space Cowboy/Hard Core Sci-Fi fan for longer than I have been a tabletop gamer. I should have jumped on this bandwagon a long time ago. I will be heading out to my LGS ...

Re: Hello from Denmark
Welcome to the OWM forums Troels. I've done LARP in the past too. My last LARP was a science fiction LARP, called Virtual Eclipse . We had our own bespoke universe, based around seven power blocs who each had control of a number of different planets. In real-life, we mostly used scout camps in the S...

Re: How many people here are good at making polar maps?
The moving gridlines (medians, parallels, latitiudes, longitdues) - and by this I mean curving on the display - would be the best tool. The stretch goal that added additional map projections added elliptical projections (AKA Mollweide projection) that would take care of at least part of what you ar...
