There are a couple ways you could make a semi-circle. I think the easiest would be to make a pool with the circle shape pen and then use the partition tool, in line pen mode, to cut it in half.

The river delta option should split the end of the river when you click on the edge of the landmass. Yes, I see exactly what you're talking about. I've added it to the list and it'll be fixed in the next version.

Also, we'll try to add an option to disable the anti-aliasing for the grids.

Let us know if you see it again. We've got it on our tracker and will keep an eye out for it as well. It's probably something that only occurs under very specific circumstances.
