The text for a label is drawn onto its own layer, not into a text box. The box around the text is just a selection indicator that’s fitted to the size of the item (and for the Transform tool lets you resize/rotate the text). If you want it to have extra lines, you can hit Enter.

I haven’t been able to reproduce the bug. Is It something you can reproduce consistently? If so, could you send a map that has a landmass and a label on the canvas that will cause the issue? I haven’t been able to replicate the bug. Are you seeing it in multiple maps, or just one? Is it only happening with landmasses or when selecting other types of items?

Whenever I make a change to a preset, it seems to let me save it as a new one, but I cannot find a way to save and update the existing one. Is there an easy way of doing this?
