Re: v 1.0.7?
Well, I have three other mapping software apps that I can use that also do not have any subscription to use them. So, Other World Mapper isn't unique in this.

Re: v 1.0.7?
Thing is, from what I read, 1.06 was released in March of last year. So, we are now well over a year since the last POINT update. Actually, it's not too far from a year-and-a-half ... That ... wow ...

Re: v 1.0.7?
Otherworld Mapper has been my favorite software for creating maps like this. But I have to say, the space between releases is way, way, WAY too long. The original thread poster asked about the next release back in September ... 7 months ago or so. And when exactly was 1.0.6 released anyway? To get a...

Re: Maximum size (this may be unreasonable)
Billboards are printed at 15dpi (due to distance being seen, of course). The wrap on a bus or vehicle is usually 72 - 100 dpi (again, due to distance most viewers will be from it). Magazines? 150 dpi. Art prints? 240 - 300 dpi. I used to do book covers professionally. The DPI for a book cover - 300 ...

Re: Maximum size (this may be unreasonable)
I'm curious - why do you need 1200 dpi? While many printers can handle this, why do you need it? Even for professional printing, 300 dpi is the standard. Some comics are created at 600 dpi (but still printed at 300). I mean, I work in print quite a bit and have never needed 1200 dpi.

Re: Last Created Auto-Selected Option
By an option, I mean it could be a PREFERENCE that the end-user could set if they prefer to work this way. I do, but others might not. That way, if this option is set, then anytime something is created, it is auto-selected for further manipulation. Perhaps this could be an option in preferences wher...

Re: See Tool/Edges Outside of Map Edge When Drawing
That would work, certainly. However, the current system works ... I just need to see my cursor when I'm off the map.

Wow. You are absolutely correct. Not sure how I missed this. Thanks for pointing it out, though.

Re: V1.0.4 is out!
You can chose which line group you are setting from the pull down/combo (Cardinal, ordinal, etc) since you can control each separately. Do'oh! Can't believe I missed that! Thanks! :) It would be nice to have an "overall" setting where the end-user could just set one opacity, one color, etc., and th...

Re: V1.0.4 is out!
Thanks for the release! :) OWM-942 Added new tool: Windrose Network Haven't had a lot of time to play with the new release yet, but the Windrose tool is just ... strange, to me. Lines only allows me to control the lines pointing North, South, East, and West. So, if I set the opacity to something lik...
