Re: OSX Issues

That's really odd. Is that with any map, even a simple one with just one or two items? Undo/redo causes a crash in the demo, but it should be working for the full version. Just had a look. Created a really simple map (one landmass, then dropped a random feature on it). No issues. But if I undo anyt...

Re: OSX Issues

Ok, I'm super happy we have you, aotte. I'm super bad at catching bugs, it seems, and I also haven't had much time to play around with OWM recently. Happy to help stefanstr. If we don't tell the Three Minds, they cannot fix it. Unless they go digging deeper themselves, which our Unix compadres will...

Re: OSX Issues

Feature tool droppings on canvas Not sure what you mean? If you place a feature on a landmass so that the landmass is the parent and let the Feature peek over the landmass on top of the canvas, deleting the feature leaves dropping on the canvas. LandmassFeatureDroppingsOnCanvasAfterDelete.png Maybe...

Re: OSX Issues

As always late, but it's now released :) An excellent update with significant improvements. I am a happy camper. First observations: Way snappier response times (highly, highly enjoyable) Labels work Distance measurement works Travel route, works (had one crash when tweaking Bezier curves on a worl...

Re: Mac Beta Feedback

1. We'll add trackpad support hopefully with the next OSX beta coming out next week. Awesome. Count on me extensively testing it. I don't even have a mouse anymore. :D @Stefan: The two finger pan does seem to work on the map. Like you I'm looking forward to zoom and rotate to be there, as well as t...

Re: OSX Issues

I did find another one (two if you count the zoom not taking a numeric value) with travel routes that crashes OWM. Here are the steps to reproduce: Start OWM, accept all defaults until on the standard new map canvas Select Zoom tool Zoom in using 500% (Note how entering the digits 5-0-0 does not wor...

Re: OSX Issues

You can start the travel route with a point in the canvas instead of a landmass (and you can always move that point after anyways). Basically any items placed directly on the canvas that aren't landmasses will be higher in the Z-Order than landmasses and their children. If I'm understanding correct...

Re: OSX Issues

I still have no way of using the feature tool, though, so every time I try to create a feature the program crashes immediately. I am only able to use about 75-80 percent of the tools without the program crashing, but the feature tool is a sure guaranteed crash. There were three things that caused a...
