Re: Mac Beta 2 is out!
The second Beta release for OSX is out! V0.8.2. It fixes many of the issues from the early Beta and adds new functionality that will be new for the upcoming cross platform release candidate. Thanks! I need to grab this and get rid of V0.8.1-OSX Beta. Hang on. It looks like OSX support is now folded...

Re: New Battle Map Artwork!
I'm a bit confused. I'm not seeing "Battle Map Artwork" on that page. I just see Medieval Locations, three Morose Village options and two Skins. Has this been puilled or is it in an second page? Those are the battle map artwork :). New overhead/dungeon items, terrain, etc. - Alejandro Ah! Gotcha! S...

Finally got Other World Mapper onto my map computer :-)
I finally got my desktop mapping machine (a duel-boot PC/Mac) mostly set up and have installed Other World Mapper on the PC drive. So I've now got OWM on a Mac laptop that didn't exist when I backed the Kickstarter and half installed on a desktop that also didn't exist when I backed the Kickstarter....

That's a nice looking map you have there.
Is it based on modern maps of the area or have you used historical maps as inspiration?

Re: Transparent Background
I love the ship, Mark.
One of the things I need to do with Other World Mapper is make deckplans of Spelljamming ships, so the advice that Katie gave you is going to be really helpful. I hope I can make my deckplans look as good as yours do.

Re: Hello From DAZ land
:D I had never heard about this project before this weekend when Digital Art Live offered a tutorial on making fantasy maps that mentioned it over at DAZ. Tried out the Demo, and liked it enough to pick up a copy. I mainly do comics, and being able to do maps will help with some of the stories, par...

Does anyone make Roll 20 maps using OWM?
I wasn't ever planning on using Roll 20, but then I got invited to a live streamed Roll 20 game and jumped at it (because it was a Spelljammer game). We are using 2nd Edition, an mostly using the theatre of the mind, but I know that there are rulers built into Roll 20 and that you are supposed to sa...

Re: Projected Release date and final price?
A reduced feature version might help increase the size of the user base. 8-) It already has :). A good number of people bought the Basic version on our website (though the expansion is still the biggest seller). Our main thing was not wanting to force people to buy things/features they wouldn't use...
